The 2025 Benchmade 585BK-251 Mini Barrage marks a new addition to the Barrage family, designed as a distinctive everyday carry folding knife for serious collectors and EDC users.
This model features AXIS Assist, an assisted-opening mechanism that incorporates a spring into the AXIS lock system, allowing for fast, smooth, and one-handed deployment. In addition to secure lockup, the AXIS system also provides a subtle “self-closing” feel when disengaged, improving overall handling control. An integrated safety lock is included to prevent accidental deployment during carry.

The knife is equipped with a CPM-S90V stainless steel blade, finished in a black DLC coating with a distressed stonewashed appearance, offering excellent edge retention and corrosion resistance. The handle is made from Damascus-pattern G10, providing a distinctive look while maintaining durability and grip. Overall, the Mini Barrage balances premium materials, compact dimensions, and Benchmade’s proven locking technology, making it suitable for daily carry as well as collection.
