The Buck 184 Buckmaster (M9 Series) is a survival knife developed by Buck and Phrobis for the U.S. Navy SEALs. It is very rare and highly collectible.
This knife is a typical large survival knife from the late 20th century. It is highly valued among knife collectors because the model was specifically developed at the request of the U.S. Navy SEALs. Production was discontinued in 1997, and only a limited number remain in circulation.
The design of the Buck 184 was influenced by the style and concept of the Rambo knife, while maintaining several unique features of its own. For example, the entire knife is forged from steel without the use of other materials.
The guard is thickened to 6 mm, with both ends slightly raised. Each side contains two rivets. After removal, the holes can be used with cord to serve as a fixed anchor. The pommel also includes a protruding hole, which can be tied with rope and used as a spear or fishing spear.
